One of the cool things about the Track Tubes aluminum extrusion is it can easily be customized for a particular use. Early on in the design I realized a second track on the bottom of the tube would be handy for a number of tasks, both in and out of the shop. Because there are so many different types of tracks and options for this, I decided to keep the bottom of the tube flat so a user could attach their own track or other accessory. After testing many different methods of attaching both wood and aluminum tracks to the Track Tubes, I found 3 methods that all work great. As part of the testing process I consulted with 3M and found their industrial strength double-sided tape is awesome and instantly became my preferred method. In this short video I show you the 3 methods and products I use for attaching tracks and other accessories to the tubes. Take a look at the video and see how easy it is to customize the tubes with an additional track so you can Support Your Wood with Track Tubes.
